TJs Woodshop

This raccoon was made using Western Red Cedar for the tree and body. Aspen is the white wood and Walnut is the dark wood.

Intarsia

Is a kind of woodwork where you use different species of wood to get the different  grains and colors to make a 3-D picture. No stains or paints are used, this is the woods natural colors. 

You carefully cut and hand shape each piece. Then you use a clear finish  to protect and show  the woods colors and beauty.  

Once you put it all together you have what you see here
